Welcome to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Edinburgh Fringe Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival Whilst still remaining true to its founding principle of open-access for all performers, the Fringe has come a long way since its organizational beginnings in a disused pub with a leaky roof just off the Royal Mile.
We now sell over 1.35 million tickets worth more than £10m, and employ a year-round full-time staff of 10 which increases to around 120 in August.
